My friend is trying to port forward to make his own Minecraft Server. He has port forwarded in his router, Windows Firewall, and Norton Security Suite. He has even turned Norton Security Suite off, and still no outbound connections work. Any ideas? All help, no matter how suckish, is appreciated.
I have to add the port to the TCP/UDP part of my router. Also allowing Any(TCP) and Any(UDP) connections checked.
ReplyDeleteIf the router has "Gaming profile" or an option for gaming - turn it on. My router has "Game applications" and I put the ports there. Also check if the Minecraft Server program is updated or sends data properly.
ReplyDeleteSorry, none.
ReplyDeleteTry using a different method to test the outbound connection. If you are using a program to do so it might be faulty
ReplyDeleteSoryyy ! No ideas !
ReplyDelete@Xatana I used like 4 different websites to check it. @SweetShop The router port has been forwarded, and I doubt that it's anything but Norton.
ReplyDeleteBad times :(
